The short 24 hour visit also saw the Prime Minister hold separate bilateral meetings with the President of the Swiss Confederation Alain Berset and the Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven, interact with the CEOs of top global companies as well as with 120 members of the International Business Council.

This visit by an Indian Prime Minister to the WEF came after 20 years, as the last visit by Shri Deve Gowda took place in the year 1997.
