FOREIGN AID
3245. SHRI RABINDRA KUMAR JENA:
Will the Minister of EXTERNAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) whether India is currently a net donor or recipient of foreign aid and if so, the details thereof;
(b) the amount of aid India provided to other countries of the world annually in the last ten years;
(c) the country-wise distribution of India's foreign aid provided to various countries in the last five years; and
(d) the country-wise foreign aid to India in the last ten years?
ANSWER

(a) India is currently a net donor of foreign aid. In the last three years, India has provided more aid to foreign countries, than it has received.(b) The amount of aid India provided to other countries of the world annually in the last ten years is enclosed
at Annexure-I
.(c) The country-wise distribution of India's foreign aid provided to various countries in the last five years is enclosed atAnnexure-II
.(d) The country-wise foreign aid to India in the last ten years is enclosed at
Annexure-III .
