ITEC Course on English Communication and Web Designing Concludes

As part of the capacity building support extended by India to partner countries under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme, the Ministry of External Affairs organized a three-month intensive course in New Delhi on ‘Proficiency in English communication & Web Designing’. Delivered by Aptech Ltd., the course ended on 9 June 2017 and saw 32 participants from as many as 30 ITEC partner countries from Asia, Africa, Eurasia and Central America.

The course focused on building capacity in the areas of English and web designing for equipping the participants with the skills needed to design, host and maintain interactive, rich, eye-catching and animation-involving web sites, as also acquire fluency in English for everyday & business use.

The participants were felicitated and awarded certificates at a valedictory function organized by Aptech in New Delhi on 9 June 2017.

The participants also had the opportunity of getting glimpses of India’s rich cultural heritage, including visits to Jaipur and Agra.

Under the ITEC Programme, India offers over 10,500 slots to 161 partner countries across the globe in a vast range of courses, covering fields as diverse as English, IT, telecommunications, instrumentation, remote sensing, tool design, audit, accounts, finance & accountancy, banking, renewable energy, crime records, rural development, management, etc.
