Fourth India-France Bilateral Cyber Dialogue

The Fourth India-France Bilateral Cyber Dialogue was held on 13 October 2021 in virtual mode. The Indian delegation was led by Shri Atul Malhari Gotsurve, Joint Secretary (Cyber Diplomacy) from Ministry of External Affairs. The French delegation was led by Mr Henri Verider, Ambassador for Digital Affairs, Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France. The officials from respective government Ministries, Agencies and Departments from both the countries attended the Cyber Dialogue.

2. The Cyber Dialogue discussed various aspects of existing bilateral cooperation in cyberspace, exchanged views on the latest developments on cyber issues at bilateral, regional and multilateral fora and explored initiatives to further deepen cyber cooperation.

3. The delegations deliberated on a wide range of topics of mutual importance and agreed to work closely with each other in the areas of cybersecurity, cybercrime and capacity building.
